Mission Statement

Macdonald Family Charity was founded to grant dreams to children and youth who are terminally or chronically ill, injured, in a foster care environment or from a family with a low income. We serve children and youth who are citizens of the U.S. and reside in Larimer or Weld counties of northern Colorado. Our mission is to make children's dreams come true.

Program Summary

We recognize there are many children in our community who, due to physical limitations or financial struggles, are never exposed to opportunities to help them see the hope and possibility that ixists in the world and our community. By granting dreams to children and youth, Macdonald Family Charity provides them with opportunities they may not otherwise receive.

Wish List

A board member or two from Weld county, volunteers to help with our event committee, and additional people to help us with dream fulfillment.

Client Story

In June of 2009 we had Chris' mom write to us of Chris' desire to meet his favorite artist, Kid Rock. We did everything we could to get the meet and greet for him at the July 3 performance at the Greeley Stampede. When it happened, Chris was blown away! As a child diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, this was a life long dream that community members came together to fulfill. Kid Rock was also extremely generous and did a shout out to Chris during a popular song and then sent Chris and his family to Disneyland the following October.
